1950's Varsity Jacket

Whenever I see a Varsity Jacket, my heart kind of melts. I usually see them on the cutest boys. For example Paul Wesley, aka Stefan Salvatore on The Vampire Diaries. Or model turned Actor, Colton Haynes in The Gates and now, Teen Wolf. I feel as if by simply wearing a varsity jacket, I can be transported back into those same high school hallways and pep rallies. The leather sleeves had me at hello. Of course, I wanted to evoke a 1950's feel by adding in my trusty Converse sneakers and a Cheerleader -esque electric blue miniskirt. Do you like today's outfit of the day?

I have an addiction to high school based movies and television series.. maybe it's the romance, or the funny escapades that ensue? Or maybe it's the friendships? One thing holds true, my obsession with Varsity jackets. The girls always wore their boyfriend's jackets as a symbol to say they were taken. I missed my jacket and when I recently happened upon this pretty little thing in ASOS, I pounced. Do you like it?
